Before we even pick up a camera, we take the time to get to know you properly. Your pre-shoot questionnaire is where it all begins. We want to know your vision, your expectations, how you’re feeling in this season, and whether you’d like to include your partner, children, or fur babies.
From there, we’ll guide you on choosing the best location and light, whether that’s outdoors at golden hour, iin our London street studio, or in a space of your choice. You’ll also receive our what-to-wear and prep guide, practical, confidence-boosting advice so you feel comfortable, prepared, and beautifully put together without overthinking it.
BEFORE YOUR shoot
During your session, our role is to guide you into flattering, natural poses that celebrate your changing body. We understand how to position and style you to highlight your bump beautifully, creating shape, softness, and strength in all the right ways.
You don’t need to know how to stand, move, or hold yourself, we’ll direct you gently and confidently so you feel comfortable and powerful in front of the camera.
Maternity sessions typically run for up to 60 minutes, enough time to move at a relaxed pace while capturing a beautiful variety of images. With over 15 years of experience, we create photographs that feel timeless rather than trend-driven, images that will always reflect this powerful chapter with grace.
On the day
After your session, we carefully curate your images, selecting the very best moments from the shoot. Your online gallery is where you’ll view and choose your favourites, then each selected image is professionally edited to ensure you shine even more.
All high- and web-resolution files are delivered via your private gallery for easy viewing and sharing, and your images are archived for two years so you can revisit this season whenever you like.
And when you’re ready to take things beyond the screen, we’ll guide you through options for prints or albums, beautiful, tangible pieces designed to bring your memories to life and live proudly in your home for years to come.

While you’ll see lots of golden light through our work, if you take a closer look, you’ll also see plenty of moody and stormy skies! If the weather is really, really bad, we can reschedule. If rescheduling won’t work we can use our studio or recommend some great wet weather options that provide cover from the rain or wind!

Clothing choices can increase spontaneity or take it away – if you’re overthinking your outfit choice, it’s unlikely you’ll feel relaxed.

For maternity photography, the best timeframe is 30-36 weeks of pregnancy. Your tummy is beautifully round, and you’re not feeling uncomfortable! Generally, there is also less chance of missing our window because the baby is coming early.

The sweet spot is between 28 to 34 weeks, however you may want to wait till slightly later if you’re not showing much yet!
At this stage of the pregnancy, your bump is beautifully defined and you are usually still comfortable enough to move and pose with ease. We recommend booking in your second trimester to secure your place. Our diary fills quickly and we want you photographed at your best stage.
