Embrace the New Normal
Before we even lift a camera, we take the time to get to know you. Your pre-shoot consultation is where it all begins, your birth story (if you want to tell it!) your expectations, any siblings or pets you’d love included, and how you’re really feeling in this brand-new season. There’s no pressure to be anything other than exactly where you are right now. Tired. Emotional. Completely in love. We understand it all, and that understanding shapes the way we photograph you.
BEFORE YOUR shoot
During your newborn session, our role is to gently guide you into natural, flattering positions while documenting the quiet, authentic moments as they unfold. You don’t need to “know what to do” or feel camera-ready, you just need to be present with your baby.
When it comes to your little one, you’re in experienced hands. We use safe, supported techniques to keep your newborn comfortable at all times. With over 15 years of experience, baby safety is never an afterthought, it’s the priority. Nothing is rushed or forced, and we’ll check in with you that you’re happy.
Newborn sessions aren’t timed but typically run up to 90 minutes, allowing space for feeds, cuddles, and the inevitable “they were asleep two minutes ago” moment. Sessions can take place in your home or in our London Street studio, wherever you and your baby feel most comfortable and the light is just right.
On the day
After your session, we carefully curate your images, selecting the very best moments from your time together. Your online gallery is where you’ll view and choose your favourites, then each selected image is professionally edited to ensure your images shine!
All high- and web-resolution files are delivered via your private gallery for easy viewing and sharing, and your images are archived for two years so you can revisit this season whenever you like. And when you’re ready to take things beyond the screen, we’ll guide you through options for prints or albums, beautiful, tangible pieces designed to bring your memories to life and live proudly in your home for years to come.
These early days may feel like a blur of feeds and very little sleep, but your photographs won’t be. They’ll become part of your family’s story, the beginning chapters you’ll look back on long after this tiny stage has passed.

Newborn sessions can be held in your home or in our London Street studio. The studio features a beautiful bed, a couch and the most perfect natural light for your shoot. If you prefer to use your home, we work with natural light and a few simple spaces such as the nursery, master bedroom or living area. You do not need a large house or perfect décor. Light and connection matter most.
If you would prefer an outdoor setting, that can be arranged as well, weather permitting.

Soft, neutral tones photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your baby. We will guide you prior to your session so you feel confident and coordinated without looking overly styled.

It is best to book while you are still pregnant to secure space in our diary. We pencil you in around your due date, then confirm your session once your baby arrives. This gives flexibility while ensuring you don’t miss the ideal window.

The ideal time is within the first 5 to 14 days. Babies are usually sleepier and more naturally curled during this stage. That said, beautiful images can be created at any age, so please don’t worry if you are outside this window.

Newborn sessions are completely baby led and unhurried. They typically allow up to 2 hours so there is plenty of time for feeding, settling and cuddles.

Yes. We bring a posing pillow, as well as a few neutral blankets and wraps. We also have a few pairs of neutral bloomers to pop baby into if you’d like. We do not use heavy props or themed setups. Our style is natural and refined. If you have something meaningful you would like included, we are always happy to incorporate it thoughtfully.
